What is InterVarsity?

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA (IV) is a national organization (www.intervarsity.org).  IV is an interdenominational campus mission serving more than 35,000 students and faculty on more than 560 college and university campuses all over the country.  IV has a rich tradition of campus witness, thoughtful discipleship, and concern for world missions.[IMAGE]

What is the purpose of IV?

The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and ure, and God's purposes in the world.

IV’s Vision

To see lives transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed.

IV’s passion for MSU

We desire to love all people on campus and in the community where they are at and to come alongside them to bring glory to God so they can see the love of Christ.

IV at MSU

We care about people, the campus and our world.  We believe God showed his care for us through Jesus Christ.  By learning the ways of Jesus, as found in Scripture, we will better express God's love to MSU and to each other.

The IV community gathers weekly for worship, study, and just being together every Thursday @ 7:05 pm at the Crossroads Chapel (across the street from Trafton, next to the Performing Arts Center).  We often have planned activities around campus to meet new people and make new friends.  There are as many opportunities to serve MSU as you have ideas!  There are also places in leadership you can explore with IV to better help us see transformed lives, a renewed campus and developed world changers!  Check it out!
