Summer 2008 Update:
Hello Everyone!
Most of us are out in the world during the summer but are busily planning for the fall semester. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at DSU will be hosting two new student orientation events that you won't want to miss. We'll be having a root beer float / volleyball / capture the flag night the first week of school, and a freshmen survival event (with free food) as well.
We are also busily preparing for the fall semester's upcoming bible studies. There will be bible studies for freshmen guys and freshmen girls. There will also be an evangelism-oriented bible study lead by Casie Miller, a bible study on apologetics lead by Jasen Haller and Matthew Paulson, and prayer groups throughout the week.
We have a lot of exciting events for our weekly large group event, Impact! in the works too. Expect to see a lot more video and media integrated with Impact! this year as we have a lot of students involved in the digital arts. We are working on lining up speakers and events and hope that you'll attend when you arrive in the fall semester!
